KOGAS’s President and CEO, Hee-Bong Chae and Gazprom’s Chairman of the Management Committee, Alexey Miller, met at the Eastern Economic Forum to discuss the two companies’ future collaboration.
A main point of discussion was the agreement between KOGAS and Sakhalin Energy Investment Company Ltd, in which Gazprom has a major interest. The agreement covers the supply of 1.5 million tons per annum (MTPA) of liquified natural gas (LNG).
Further, KOGAS and Gazprom confirmed their continued interest in working together in the LNG market, including R&D and environmental protection collaboration.
