Clean Energy Fuels Corp. (CLNE) has appointed Philippe Charleux, senior vice president of Total Marketing Services (TMS), to its board of directors. Charleux joins Philippe Montantême, senior vice president of strategy marketing research at TMS, who already serves on Clean Energy’s board.
Stephen Scully, Clean Energy’s board chairman, stated: “Clean Energy is fortunate to have the talent, expertise and energy that our directors from our partner Total bring to the table.”
Charleux, 58, holds a Master’s degree in chemistry and chemical engineering from the Ècole Supérieure de Chimie Physique Électronique de Lyon. He joined Total as a research engineer in 1986 and has held many executive positions before being appointed vice president. He replaces Warren I. Mitchell, Clean Energy’s director and former chairman, who retired on February 26, 2020.
