Burckhardt Compression will provide scheduled maintenance, dedicated supervision, remote diagnostics, preventive maintenance, field services and project management to an unnamed LNG shipping company under a long-term service agreement. The five-year contract covers nine ME-GI-powered LNG carriers that use Laby-GI Compressors for boil-off gas management.
Burckhardt will perform compressor maintenance during vessel operation to maximize efficiency. Its work is expected to improve lifecycle costs, operational efficiency and provide accurate preventive maintenance.
