Canada-based Cryopeak LNG Solutions Corporation has completed North America’s largest LNG delivery by truck. The gas was sent to power Coeur Silvertip Holdings’ Silvertip mine on the Yukon-British Columbia border.
Around 18,000 gallons of LNG was shipped by Cryopeak’s proprietary Super B-Train trailers, which have been designed with a 70% greater load capacity than standard trailers currently operating in Canada.
“We are pleased to support the development of the new Super B-Train LNG trailer which will increase LNG payload and decrease transportation costs of LNG to the Silvertip mine,” said Rick Loughery, Purchasing Manager for Coeur Silvertip.
