Bechtel substantially completed the second liquified natural gas (LNG) train for Cheniere’s Corpus Christi Liquification facility. This marks the seventh Bechtel-constructed LNG train that Cheniere now operates.
Overall, Bechtel has delivered seven trains since 2012 for both the Corpus Christi Liquification project and the Sabine Pass facility.
Bechtel’s General Manager, Darren Mort stated, “These projects are improving access to energy for communities around the world and we are extremely proud to be able to support our customer’s operational and performance success on these projects.”
Nearly one third of the globe’s LNG capacity comes from Bechtel-supplied facilities, equating to 66 million tons of LNG per year.
