Chart commissioned a design and build for a natural gas vehicle (NGV) fueling station for Gasum. It is the first installation in Sweden. Chart will construct 17 more stations across Scandinavia before the end of the year. The stations are equipped with proprietary Saturation on the Fly (SoF) technology which improves energy management and provides refuelling times comparable to diesel vehicles.
Increasing restrictions on emissions and concerns about carbon footprints means that liquefied natural gas (LNG) and liquefied bio-gas (LBG) are in greater demand as the future fuel for heavy transport vehicles.
