EXMAR has completed testing and commissioning of the Tango floating liquefaction natural gas vessel (FLNG). The contract for the vessel was signed in November 2018, and the Tango was delivered in Bahia Blanca in February 2019.
The first cargo consists of 25,000 cubic meters of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the Vaca Muerta shale reserves and has been offloaded for export from Argentina.
Nicolas Saverys, EXMAR’s Chief Executive Officer, said. “For EXMAR, the successful performance test in Bahia Blanca confirms the technical capabilities of the Tango FLNG. Tango FLNGis the first FLNG operating in the Americas.”
