South Korean LNG carrier owner, Hyundai LNG Shipping Company (HLS) placed an order with Hyundai Heavy Industry for a Very Large Gas Carrier (VLGC).
The 84,500 m3 VLGC will be the latest addition to HLS’s 10 vessel fleet. Expected for delivery in the third quarter of 2020, the new carrier will perform a seven-year time charter.

HLS was the first LNG shipping company in Korea and continues to find avenues for growth in the global market.
