JGC Corporation received a front-end engineering and development (FEED) contract for the LNG Plant for Marine Fuel in the Port of Sohar in Oman. The liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant is a small/medium scale proposal planned by Total E&P Oman Development B.V., a subsidiary of Total S.A., and Oman Oil Company S.O.A.C. The plant will have an annual production capacity of one million tons.
Currently, JGC is executing three LNG plant construction projects: a large-scale LNG plant in Canada and floating plants (FLNG) off the coasts of Malaysia and Mozambique.
