Eagle LNG Partners has chosen Matrix Service Company subsidiary Matrix Service Inc. to provide engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction work for an LNG export facility to be built in Jacksonville, Florida.
Once completed, the facility will be able to produce around 1.65 million gallons of LNG per day and store 12 million gallons of LNG. It will also come with a marine terminal and truck-loading capabilities. The project will need an investment of around US$500 million.
The facility will also utilize Chart Industries’ IPSMR technology and liquefaction equipment technology. It will be one of the Caribbean’s most easily accessible sources of LNG for small, ocean-going vessels.
