Australian energy company, Woodside Petroleum, encountered complications upon restart of the Pluto LNG turnaround.
Although the project was completed on time, the refrigeration compressor vibrated when restarted. This led to delays on recommencing LNG production. In the meantime, Woodside committed to meet customer requirements by purchasing third party outputs when necessary.
Due to the delay in production, Woodside expects its 2019 production to come in between 88 and 94 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMBOE).
